Kickoff Message from Captain Ron !

Here's a pre-departure message from Captain Ron:

"MOUNTAIN MAN I is packed, ready and on the launch pad. Fueling
commences 0700 / 06/21/2008. Staff gathers Saturday for final
preparations and departure Sunday, June 22, 6:00am bound for
Seattle, Washington. Grady is already sitting in the drivers seat
waiting.....

This year, the camp is hosting twenty-six campers and seven staff
from four states and one country outside the US for a total crew
of 33 to Alaska! This 50th anniversary adventure will be attended
by Mr. Bob Meyer at the final campfire upon return.

Meantime, make plans to attend the BBQ hamburger cookout at
Crestview Baptist Church on Williams Drive June 29th when you drop
off your camper. There are some missing signatures in the
paperwork, mostly on the Permission to Travel and Treat so be
prepared to sign where necessary upon check-in. Here is the
schedule:

4:00pm - 5:00pm
Campers and Families check-in, Crestview Baptist, look for the
playscape area and the BBQ pit. That's us.
*Paperwork Completion
*Money Deposits into Bank
*Passports
*Phone cards into Bank
IMPORTANT NOTE: NO KNIVES, LIQUIDS, etc. on the airplane. They
WILL be confiscated and not returned.

5:00 - 6:00pm
BBQ and social mixer

6:00-6:30pm
Camp moves indoors for Orientation
